Dating antique forks and knives
It has a dark patina, but is free of anything more than a few minor spots of surface rust. The end cap has some minor separation at its seam (see 2nd to last picture for close up), but it is still secure and firmly attached.
The stag horn portion of the handle is the most worn on this piece, consistent with the higher level of usage that the Knife would have received.
Its gently curved 7 1/2" blade and comfortable 4 1/2" handle make it a good size for both small and large jobs.
